Junior Trader Plus is where students can take their financial knowledge and analysis skills to the next level.
Suitable for sixth formers and undergraduates alike.
The course is expected to take 4-8 weeks although this can be spread over up to a year if the student chooses. It is a self taught piece that involves 4 key stages:
Jargon Buster Quiz
Analytical Techniques in Practice
Mid-term formative assessment with feedback
Introduction to Compliance and Risk
Final assessment with feedback
The content is less mathematical and designed to permit student to explore their own thoughts and opinions on the way companies are run, and interact with all stakeholders.
Individual formative and summative assessment will be given and it is hoped that candidates will have grown a confidence to talk about investment during interviews and assessment.
Bursaries
If you are interested in completing Junior Trader Plus, but can demonstrate that it is not affordable for you for whatever reasons, you are able to apply for a Bursary place and receive a 25%, 50%, 75% or 100% cost award, subject to availability as part of our commitment to improving diversity in financial services, and remaining a non-profit scheme.
